A community gathering to honor and celebrate our wonderful mature oaks in Rosemont Valley

First weekend of month: Oct 1-2, Nov 5-6 and Dec 3-4

Come and stay as long as you like—
Any time from 5 pm on Saturday until 5 pm on Sunday

Potluck at 7 pm on Saturday

Please join us to honor and celebrate the oaks in Rosemont Valley. You can tie a yellow ribbon around an old oak tree, measure and count the trees, and even adopt a tree.

What to bring:

•  Food and non-alcoholic beverages for your own use and/or potluck on Saturday.

•  Portable chair

•  Camping gear if you want to stay all night (it's 10 degrees cooler out there)

•  Optional: A gallon jug of water or sage or flowers to participate in the ceremony to honor the trees.

•  Optional: Bird book, binoculars, camera

•  Optional: Firewood for bonfire

Where to meet: Follow the yellow ribbons to the oaks.....

Directions: 35 miles from downtown Tucson South on Hwy. 83 approx. 17 miles to 3/10 mile south of mile marker 47. This is about 1/10 mile south of the picnic table on the right side of highway.
